Morning, so today will be a hold your hat, skirt alert day. Arctic air moves in around noon today, winds shift to the north and temperatures drop. Winds of 15 to 20 mph will create windchills in the teens. Note it could be worst check out the graphic of temperatures to the northwest.
This morning commute might be an issue with slick spots with road temperatures in the 20s. Some area schools are on a two hour delay.
Wednesday night into Thursday will see cold temperatures with windchills in the negative for some locations. Winds will start to die down during the overnight hours but temperatures will drop to the teens.
Friday, a rebound with temperatures back into the 40s and if you can hold on until next week, temperatures in the upper 60s are on the horizon.
